BEETHOVEN Symphony No.9 in D Minor, Op.125 (1981 German double LP box set of a fully digital recording of 'The Glorious Ninth' Symphony, as performed by the Konzertvereinigung Wiener Staatsopernchor Wiener Philharmoniker, conducted by Karl Böhm, featuring Jessye Norman, Brigitte Fassbaender, Placido Domingo & Walter Berry. The box set is nicely augmented by a fold out full colour discography insert entitled 'Karl Böhm: His Legacy' & a twenty page lavishly illustrated full size bookletwith biography & discography information as well as information on this recording of what many consider to be Beethoven's finest symphony with text in German, French & English. The box itself shows negligible wear & all contents are near 'as new' - a superb copy!)
