HANK MOBLEY A Caddy For Daddy (Blue Note Tone Poet Series 2023 limited edition 5-track stereo LP mastered by Kevin Gray from the original analogue master tapes and pressed on 180-gram vinyl at RTI. Tenor saxophonist Hank Mobley had beenrecording for Blue Note Records for a decade when he entered the studio in 1965 to record A Caddy For Daddy. The session features a sextet drawn from the top tier of the label's roster, with Lee Morgan on trumpet, Curtis Fuller on trombone, McCoy Tyner on piano, Bob Cranshaw on bass, and Billy Higgins on drums.
