COLONEL ABRAMS Colonel Abrams (1985 UK 9-track vinyl LP, the self-titled debut album from the Detroit-born vocalist and dance music pioneer. A landmark release in mid-'80s electronic soul and proto-house, it features the chart-toppingclub anthem Trapped alongside The Truth, I'm Not Gonna Let You and Table For Two. Co-produced by Cerrone associate Richard Burgess [Landscape, Spandau Ballet], the album is a slick fusion of synth-led grooves, emotive vocals, and early house elements.Housed in a glossypicture sleeve with lyrics printed on the reverse.
