Gling-Glo (Rare 1st issue 1990 Icelandic 16-track CD album on the
Smekkleysa label featuring Bjork singing over a be-bop jazz trio of
Piano, Bass & Drums. All but one of the vocals are in Icelandic but if,
like me, you think that Bjork could probably make a telephone
directory sound interesting if she decided to sing it, this won't bother
you too much (even less if you're from Iceland!). Very unlike her
more familiar tone poems, thisjazz excursion still manages to sit
proudly with the rest of her work. In fact, it really is marvellous. Don't
just take my word for it - buy a copy! SM27)
