There is tape reinforcement (not repair) to three edges; admittedly this is reasonably subtle and doesn't detract from the front cover photo, with a little light discolouration to the unlaminted back. There is no writing on the sleeve \u0026amp; the scalloped flipbacks are secure as well as the side flipback. There are creases to the right corners, these can be forgiven with age \u0026amp; the colours of this iconic front cover still shine bright \u0026amp; loud like a commanding note from Trane's tenor! There are some additional light ring wear creases, mild corner scuffs \u0026amp; some faint age marks on closer inspection. All print is clearly legible. Although not mint, this is a very pleasing example \u0026amp; one that should still sit proudly at the fore of any music collection.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eLabels:-\u003cbr\u003eThese are the original red \u0026amp; silver London Atlantic design with a 'deep groove'. The labels are EX with with one or two tiny marks by the spindle hole to show play. The matrices in the dead wax are machine stamped:\u003cbr\u003eSide 1: AML-1608-1B\u003cbr\u003eSide 2: AML-1609-1B\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eVinyl:-\u003cbr\u003eThe first press heavyweight vinyl is the star of the show here. It has a lovely deep clean shine both sides \u0026amp; plays beautifully with very little evidence of any background interference on its intended mono playback setting. The vinyl grades Excellent \u0026amp; on close inspection reveals merely a few minor signs of play.
