The band used the help of an outside writer, Costa's Ferris, to create this monumental record. While combining psychedelic and prog rock, the album also incorporates ethnic instruments, choral chanting, and spoken word recitiations. Including a guest appearance on 'Infinity' from Greek Actress Irene Papas.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eVangelis himself as stated that the album was apparently created under the influence of Sahlep, a Turkish flour which is consumed in beverages or deserts.
