The first LP features the original album in full, showcasing Elliott Smith’s unmistakable blend of intimate acoustic guitar work and hauntingly fragile vocals, including the now-iconic Needle In The Hay, later introduced to a wider audience through its appearance in The Royal Tenenbaums soundtrack.
The second LP adds significant archival value, presenting the earliest known live solo recording by Elliott Smith, captured on September 17th, 1994, offering a rare and deeply personal glimpse into his formative live performances.
This deluxe edition is housed in an impressive 52-page hardbound, double-LP coffee-table photo book, featuring rare and previously unseen photographs by JJ Gonson, alongside handwritten lyrics and heartfelt reminiscences from Smith’s friends and collaborators.
