BENNY GOLSON Stockholm Sojourn (1965 UK 8-track mono LP, with a 'Factory Sample - Not For Sale' sticker on Side 1; recorded for Prestige & featuring a number of US ex-pats such as Benny Bailey, Cecil Payne & Grachan Moncour III taking up residence in Sweden, which proved a haven for many jazzmen. Also on the record are Polish bassist Roman Dylong, who managed to slip out under the Iron Curtain, plus the talented Swedes Bengt-Arne Wallin [trumpet], Eje Thelin [trombone] & Rune Falk[baritone sax], front laminated flipback picture sleeve. The sleeve is in Near Mint condition whilst the vinyl shows only a few signs of play SL10150)
